"Birds are so much wiser than we! A robin builds a nest for robins. A seagull builds a nest for seagulls. They don't copy each other - or build themselves nests as described in The Birds' Decorating Magazine."
~Dorothy Draper
Love these wild eyes, Lyn, and the composition with the main subject offset to the right is just right. I just pulled a copy for my wallpapers folder, thanks.

Dorothy Draper has right, Lyn, although I have some doubts that the tricky behavior of the cuckoo should be called wise (☺). Fine one for the Wednesday B&W challenge!

The clarity is stunning, the eyes of this seagull are spectacular in this scene, and the detail and texture of the wood comes through perfectly. Favorite for sure.
