Another Gypsy Home seen at the Gypsy Fair on Sunday. Not as bright as my first post but a little bigger :)

As a child I loved The Pedlar's Caravan poem by William Brightly Rand. You can read it HERE. My mother used to tell it to me. I really really did want to live in a caravan !! I was told in that I took after my grandmother after whom I was named. I never knew her, she died before I was born but I know I would have felt close to her. Perhaps we would have gone off together, travelling in a home such as this, with the addition of a horse (of course) I would have taken care of her and not let let die so young, in her 40's. RIP Grandmother dear.

Oh I do like this series, I have always considered myself a bit of a gypsy since I do have Bohemian ancestry. tigs=^..^=

Living in such a mobile Gypsy home can be adventurous, but I've lived too long in a 'maritime mobile home' (the cabins of the ships on which I've sailed in my former career) that I prefer a solid house now, ☺
A picturesque scene however, Lyn.

I am not sure I would want to live in this down here with all the hurricanes, but it does look cozy.

Wow, this one's even larger,,, including a balcony porch and a carport! Here in the U.S. we'd call it a camper without a brand name.

May not have all the comforts of a modern caravan but it looks cosy.

Dang, it's expensive to find out your future and fortune, huh?!

Very cool pic, Lyn! I think this looks like a wonderful wee home on the caravan road: clean, loved, and it has a charming character.

I also enjoyed the poem. And I don't need Tarot cards to foresee the possibility that your grandmother is never far from you and travels with you everyday. :)

The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
