I took a bunch of close ups of my now fully open lilac blossoms and unintentionally captured this delightful little spider. You can tell how small it is by the size of the lilac blossom flowers, and I did not see it until I looked at the photos. Which is just as well as I am afraid of spiders and don't really think it is delightful at all - but someone else might :)

That critter does make a nice added element, I too am not a fan of spiders, but when it comes to the camera, they make a good photo opt.
Good one Lyn, and for not knowing it was there, you did good. tigs=^..^=

I like the sharp focus on the "delightful" (what?) intruder and the soft focus on the white blooms. Nice one Lyn.

The little spider became your subject matter and the flowers became its background. Good one Lyn.

It's interesting how the front legs are black and brown and the back legs are green. This is a Black-Headed Jumping Spider, Lyn. If you don't like spiders, you probably won't like the "jumping" part but, no worries, it only jumps a matter of a few centimeters and only that at prey. It's also harmless to humans. Good catch!

Ahhhh ... Lilacs. Lucky you! I love lilacs.

I think your unintentional, teeny-tiny spider portrait is delightful. It's looking right at you, rather calmly, with a casual arm pose. lol A star is born!

It's not dangerous. But the flower is lovely.
