Yesterday the mountains were bare. This morning we awoke to a good coating of snow. It is supposed to be Spring! I took this from my patio at lunch time with my Panasonic TZ60. I am missing my canon lens which is jammed and I can not release. I think its a goner :(
The sudden short storm has caused some havoc - new born lambs are suffering, there is property damage and roads and schools closed in some places and the vintners are fearing for their grape harvest if there are any frosts to follow.

Reading your narrative think that even on the southern hemisphere the climate change can be the reason for that.
A striking capture however, Lyn!

The vagaries of weather! This is a beautiful sunlit scene and the snow on the mountains definitely add to its beauty. Some consolation for you.

Lyn, the shadow play for me on the snow covered mtns. really makes this one special. I sure hope everything gets back to normal soon, and the lambs make it through the crazy weather. I would take it to your camera shop, maybe they might be able to figure it out. tigs=^..^=

A really gorgeous scene Lyn - our springs in Chicago frequently have snow so it is not a surprise.

It is to bad about that sneaky little snow, hopefully everything will come out of it. It's a gorgeous capture though.

Yeah, but that's thousands of feet higher, Lyn, right? In Montana's Glacier National Park, I've seen it snow in the mountain passes at the end of August, when it's normally in the 80's and 90's on our prairies. Gorgeous photo, though... love mountains, snow or not.
