The clock has ticked over bringing February to a close and with it the end of our summer here in New Zealand. To me sunflowers epitomise summer and sunshine so I thought this was appropriate. It was taken in January.
And for us up here, in the opposite latitude (of Invercargill), the days are hovering around the mid-30's and the ice is melting in the streets. It's always fun to see your imagery, Lyn, realize it was taken yesterday or last week, then look out my window for comparison.
