A panoramic view of Honolulu Harbour from the top of the Aloha Tower. The old vessel that can be seen in the middle of the picture is the the Falls of Clyde which has been stripped of her masts and is now sadly sits derelict in the harbour. She has a very interesting history that you can read about HERE.
The white vessel to the right of it is the Star of Honolulu that runs Dinner and Whale Watch cruises. We went back the next day for the whale watching (spectacular)

I've checked-out the link in your narrative. It's a pity that a fine ship as the 'Falls of Clyde' is deteriorated that way.

A gorgeous pano, Lyn. Since the Aloha tower was the tallest building in Honolulu from 1926 to 1966, it would definitely made for a great lookout for military purposes. I found the history of the "last surviving iron-hulled, four-masted full-rigged ship, and the only remaining sail-driven oil tanker" to be very interesting but also a little sad for this old historian, realizing how much of our past we are slowly losing. At least there are talented people who know how to catalog these places with good photography. From a little bit of distortion I see about 1/5 in from the right and the variety of slightly different angles of the skyscrapers, I'm guessing this is a stitched pano? Despite that, nice work on this, Lyn.
