The Church Spire and the extra dahlia were not meant to be in the shot and I initially was going to crop them out.I have decided to leave them there and let them all point skyward.

The composition is wonderful with the Dahlia in the forefront and the spire in the background complimenting the image.

The dahlia and the steeple may reach for the 'top', but your composition is already a top notch one, Lyn.
Perfect presentation too!

You made a wise decision, Lyn...that church spire and extra dahlia fit in quite nicely with the scene, especially with their colors and that they point in the same direction as the larger flower...great work on the framing too.
