I am sorry my first upload of this was he wrong one so have uploaded again.

Away from the city on Oahu Hawaii we often saw hens apparently living wild. This family was at the entrance to the Pali Lookout and the clever mother knew she would get remains of lunches for herself and her chicks as people entered and left. They were well used to people and coped with the howling wind better than we humans:)

Wonderful colors in this one, Lyn. I conclude by your narrative that mother hen and her chicks meanwhile have learned how to survive. She still keeps an eye on what's going while the kids show the above mentioned priority, ☺ !
Good one!
