He liked to pretend he was 'helping' in the garden but usually found a sunny spot to watch from. This is how I like to remember him. We laid him to rest yesterday, in his favourite 'watching spot' here, with heavy hearts, flowing tears and many memories. Our house seems empty.

It is always a very sad occasion when your pet departs. You must get another to take his place soon Lyn.

I'm so sorry Lyn - having lost several cats through the years they always take a little piece of your heart with them. I remember other photos of Max - he seemed quite the typical inquisitive cat. Cherish your memories.

The loss of a friend, whether it is a person or a beloved pet, brings sorrow and emotions with it. Your narrative puts this very well, Lyn. I have empathy for these sincere sentiments. Cherish this beautiful picture of Max. I'm sure that if you look at it later again, it will create fond memories.

Sorry to hear of your loss, Lyn. Losing a beloved pet has always been a tough gig for our family, their lives being so much shorter than ours we die-hard pet lovers have to endure it many times. I always find that a new love, a new furry companion with their own unique personality, is a huge assist in turning the grief of loss into the warmth of memory.
