Rocks by the sea - A fairly tenuous connection I admit - this is for SNATM.
Don't Knock the Rock is a 1956 American musical film starring Alan Dale. Directed by Fred F. Sears, the film also features performances by Bill Haley & His Comets, Little Richard, The Treniers, and Dave Appell and the Applejacks. The title of the film comes from one of Haley's hit singles of 1956.

Edit: Not sure if anyone noticed that there is a live rock star just behind the light coloured rock lower middle of the photo. It has its head raised and you can just see its whiskers - (rockin and a rollin) I did not see it myself until I uploaded it - I had wondered why I had taken a photo of some rocks but I was likely aiming for rock star

Nothing tenuous about it in my mind, Lyn...your title fits the image perfectly...having lived down at the lake in the past and hearing the waves crash into the rocks I can clearly see and hear the connection to your title...when I first suggested the movie title idea I gave a few examples...it might be a literal portrayal of a movie as was the case with your King Kong...or a more pun-like portrayal, as is the case here, or like an image of a bug for example on a blade of grass might be titled Blade Runner, the title of a movie which was not about bugs:)...so it's basically about the title and if you want to mention what the actual movie was about that just adds more interest/entertainment value...sorry for the long comment...morning coffee:)...but hope you, and others, catch my drift ....btw, I haven't seen this film but I am a fan of those musical artists and enjoy their music so thanks for this super submission to SNATM.

Love how the rocks glisten after they have been kissed and caressed by the "Rock Around the Clock," waves.
A superior entry for SNATM LE. 👍👍

Re: the 'rock star'...this can happen at times and a pleasant surprise when discovered...your camera knew what it was doing even if you didn't:)...teasing...cool find, Lyn, and even more fitting now.

Has cost me some time to find this 'rock star', Lyn.
Think he was listening to the everlasting sound of the sea, 😄 .
Good entry for this SNATM-theme (🎥).

Looking at it for a while...it seems like 'Darth Vadar' (from Stars Wars fame)....

If it is a ROCK star....he would be a real 'Head Banger' eh....lol

I had to look closely, but I found your "rock star," LE. It made a great photo even better.
