They are so beautiful, so dark they are almost black and velvety. Fine shot. I saw that color rose just the other day as a friend had 3 of them come out on a cluster on her rose bush. They really gorgeous.

Wonderful tribute and we just had the same experience in our family LE.
My mother tells of some solace someone gave her when her father died too young at 50.
"God picks the rosebuds right along with the roses," he told her. She just mentioned that to me again the other day when we lost someone much to young.
