Found this moss strewn tanker whilst walking through a forest. Not sure what it's doing there, as the nearest metalled road is some distance away.

Parked, and forgotten, kind of a shame I think. This makes a great challenge entry. The light, and shadow play (which I'm a big fan of) is excellent. tigs=^..^=

This looks like a wonderful vehicle to be left or abandoned. Your photo catches it so dramatically with all the shadows. Very nice, MJ.

Quite a mystery and it looks like it has been there for some time. You achieved great B&W tones and clarity.
I have added it to the BWC - thank you !

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Why it's where it is, is quite mysterious indeed... (Cue X-Files music).
As for the photo, I was absentmindedly going through rafts of folders when I happened upon this one. As tigs alludes to and what I saw in the full colour photo, there is lots of light and shadow and I thought to myself, that might look good in Black & White.
So, Black & White it is...

Lyn, thanks for doing the necessary. Much appreciated.

This image actually portrays the abandonment very well. It doesn't look like that thing has moved for quite some time. It's amazing there is still air in those tires. And you're right, makes an awesome B/W.

Emptiness is not nothingness. It is simply the opposite of full of it.
