One of our little furry friends doing the rounds in my backgarden. Despite the laws of gravity, mechanics and thermodynamics, I'm always pleasantly surprised to see these creatures somehow utilise huge amounts of energy for their aerial manoeuvres.

Nice macro and I like the way you have placed the subject off to the right, so that when I use this as a desktop I can utilize the left-hand side for my platoon sized cadre of icons.

You have to dream, you have to have a vision, and you have to set a goal for yourself that might even scare you a little because sometimes that seems far beyond your reach. Then I think you have to develop a kind of resistance to rejection, and to the disappointments that are sure to come your way. Gregory Peck

looks like the same bumblebee that stung me two months ago,i'm going to make poster of it and stick on my dart board..lol.. tho there is one thing i saw a doco last year on insects and how tey fly, believe it or not they expend stuff all energy and in fact are more efficient than birds,as they don't flap, insect wings are able to sort of do a figure of eight motion which gives them lift and propulsion on the up and down stroke, which kinda explains why they can be very zippy considering their size or something like that

Good work. The background is a bit loud for my desktop though.

”So you screw Raffi over?” “It’s a lot of money, bro. I just thought, you know, I could find another buyer.” “You screwed over my brother.” “Danny.” “Your brother, man.”

That bee looks wonderful on the lilac flowers. Great closeup and colours. :)
