A recent trip up the motorway to the Slimbridge Wetland Centre gave me a number of bird images. The challenge in this place is to isolate one bird from the huge numbers and to keep a good distance, because they are very tame and keep moving towards you all the time.

Beautiful. Nice that you caught the glint in her eye.

And the Lord spake, saying, "First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin. Then shalt thou count to three, no more, no less. Three shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who, being naughty in my sight, shall snuff it."

Nice capture - I like the way the swan seems to be fishing for something just under the surface.

Looks like he was posing for you! Funny, I have been thinking about a visit to Slimbridge myself. Sounds like it's worth it. You caught this one beautifully.
