Particularly like the path and it's placement within frame.
Colour are rich and the contrasts are striking.
Caveats?
Took a look at the larger resolution sizes available. It appears, at least to my eyes, that you performed some removal/post processing on the note of noise reduction.
Which, looks fine. Not nearly as noticeable at the suggested viewing sizes.
However.. given that I woke up cranky (in the midst of a heat wave in my region) and had to expend some of that energy, my fine toothed comb detected a few telltale signs in your selection of the sky.
But.. that really is me nit picking here.
And I am kidding to a large extent.
I do have a suggestion though, and perhaps this is more for future reference in case you were unawares. Perform the 'de-noising' on just the red and/or blue channels (in Photoshop, for example). Typically the worst culprits.
Or, pay more attention to them with the options of the software at your disposal. Like for example, and there is a freeware version by the way.. Neat Image.
That nonsense of mine aside..
Make no mistake about my words above, it really is a nice shot. The compositional notes and considerations alone, make this one a standout.
Wow this is a outstanding looking photography with stunning colour and light, plus I love the sunlight running across the field and the dramatic looking sky.
This is a lovely scene of this field of wheat. The colours are wonderful and I love that path leading the eye into the distance. Makes a great DT too. Well done! Fav'd and thank you for sharing! Ann
Hello Richard...A cleverly composed image. The different shades of green in the wheat are lovely and the pathway set off to the right of the frame is spot on....Well done....All the very best to you Richard.....Mick.
