Now I have to choose which one I liked the best, Mariana! They all were good! I really like this one..probably the closest shot. Excellent clarity; a perfect one for the season to come!

It is almost sad, that this pretty creation of nature has to leave one day. But on the other side - than you will show us some pretty roses. It is fantastic, to see ice with filling.
I'm way behind so forgive me for not commening on your individual posts but know that I've looked at all of them since I left. I truly enjoy seeing all of your posts and am always happy to see you at My Gallery. Thanks, Anita

I don't imagine your Roses were too thrilled with this icy coating ... but I have to tell you I think the image is superb. A wonderfully focused and composed closeup of natures dramatic extremes. Think I'll put this on ice in my favorites before we have a thaw ... Beautiful piece of photography Mariana.
I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there isn't and die to find out there is.

Are these wild roses? If so, they'll survive almost anything. We used to have a hedge of them until they started to take over the lawn, and then it was years and years before they stopped trying to come back each spring, so I have no fear, if these are the same type, that you'll be enjoying their sweet smell come next summer. Even though their thorns are twice as sharp and long as a regular rose, they smell like heaven :)PJ
I like your icicle series and I think this is my favorite because it is such a sharp and detailed closeup. You can even see the tiny air bubbles in the ice. Another keeper for me.
