This is hollyhock. Typical Polish flower but of most unusual colour. Just in case someone will find it on Friday, this or next week. SAM & SAAB or SAAM & SAB?
Gorgeous and such a deep rich color! No wonder my grandma had some of these! She was Polish and my grandpa German. They made quite a pair!...lol...Outstanding Sam!!
Do you have to plug that in, or does it light up with batteries? The center of that deep red foofy is glowing! Does it put off a little heat, too? (I know...quit asking so many stupid questions.) Just one more....is it Friday or not!? ....Beautiful shot for any day of the week! Well done, SAM.
No ..Not Friday...not any day...but any night...You've been hanging around with the bats again..Careful you'll go batty...Or is it too late...The picture itself is good and your night vision is too..R.
SAM or SAAM, that's pretty confusing on this tuesday afternoon. But one can expect this from a SA and her SAB aka SAAB (the latter is not a car of this branch, as such a advertisement is forbidden on Caedes). Your fine Polish flower image, has however set me at ease again, lol. A comforting thought, isn't it?

This Image GRABBED my EYE. That's Why I Stopped By.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
I could come back in a couple of days to make a it a proper Friday viewing. Some lovely deep rich colours in the hollyhock. SAM. I like how the center glows against the dark background of the petals.
