We have a traditional Scandinavian wooden star hanging in our window. It is there to welcome visitors especially when the days are short and the nights are long during our Northern Minnesota winters.

Simply stunning against the snowy scene behind. Wonderful seasonal post. I like the sentiment the star symbolizes and I like it's presentation here.

Just an old "Grampa" who still has a Kodak "Box" camera kicking around the attic ... learning and enjoying the wonders of modern digital photography.
