A very interesting shot with all of those twists of nature upon this piece of wood. There are some neat designs in there. :o)

Oh I knew I was going to like this one from the thumbnail! I grew up in Oregon where trees are (yes) a crop, and even more, things of beauty and joy. This tough old bird has been through a lot and if he's laying on the ground now, he will nurture a wide variety of forest life. The textures are interesting and your eye is great. The composition is different from the usual, but striking in that you have a mirror repetition of color, texture and line.

This is a great picture - it reminds me of waves crashing in on both sides of an island. Well done and thanks for sharing!
