I took this picture at the Calgary Zoo. They have quite the garden there. I think i spent more time taking pictures of flowers that day then i did looking at animals.
It's like a world unto itself and I guess that's exactly what it is. It just goes about its business and we almost never get to view it this close. What a wonderful job you've done with this macro. If all the flowers were this captivating, I can see why you spent more time on them than on the animals. The clarity is brilliantly executed as all the elements are crystal clear and each adds its own unique perspective to the whole of the composition. The pollen creates almost a spray, like a plume of water off the ocean. And I have to agree with cynlee's pont of view concerning the pencil points..I certainly would never have thought of it that way, but she's right. Thanks for this one :)PJ
