Okay, so the title lied. It is sitting under a heat lamp. Normally a bird with his stunning good looks (cough cough) wouldn't be worth taking a picture of but he was sitting right in the spot light so i had to do it. If anyone knows what kind of bird it is, let me know. I forgot to read the sign.

The lighting here is the scene-stealer....also like the pose as his head is not a straight-on shot,well coloured too....

You're right, the light is right where it needs to be and I love the contrast and shadow. I don't know the bird, but I'm wondering where you found it.

Well, if anyone tried to ever convince me that a chicken could look regal, I'd have not believed it. Somehow you've managed to do it! You would make their TRex ancestors so proud. This is a fantastic photo.. wowow. Never thought I'd say that about a chicken either :-)))
