gee, I am glad that you did that otherwise we don't have such a beautiful sunrise to watch, really like the silouettes of the people and the palmtrees:))

~again, found in voting booth and had to comment~

This one's stellar!! Sweet soft fun with friends at the perfect time of day!! My only opinion would be to 'move' if you will the image to the right using the palm right on the edge which in turn would move the sun from dead center and open a little more room on the left for icons. Still, all in all a grand capture and still user friendly enough for a superb desktop wallpaper!!

Great colors and such a nice setting. You've got a good eye for what to shoot. This photo invites you to dive right in all right! My advice would involve a couple of things - depending upon the equipment you have at your disposal. I don't trust auto-focus in low light or shooting into a direct light source, so I'd zoom (using Optical zoom only) to one of the tree trunks, and focus on it's edge manually - then zoom back out for the full frame (critical focus). I'd also try to get all the trees into the frame (don't cut off their tops). Also, maybe pan to the right, using the trees to frame the composition. The people are another issue...a snapshot for capturing good times with your buds is one approach, and what you have here works just fine. If you want a more artsy element, possibly limit the figures to one or two strolling along the sand, clearly away from the trees and in the rising sun. Of course this puts things into a posed perspective.......only my advice, mind!
