A good shot of our satellite, Paul, partial lighting of it works the best, throwing shadows across wider areas and letting us see craters in much better detail, particularly when photographed with good focus like you have done here. I, for one, would like to know what lens you used. Incidentally, without the moon exactly where it is currently placed, our planet would wobble so badly that constant climate change would wipe out much of life here and heavy tides would cover all of Manhattan and London every day.
