Some broad-leaved grasses. It's been a long time since I uploaded this image, but it's still getting positive comments so I thought I'd add to the description. This picture was taken at Lanhydrock, a National Trust property in Cornwall, UK. The property featured in a film production of Twelfth Night and is a stunning location. This picture was taken near the chapel (facing the house, to the right) just outside the wall of the formal gardens. I think it was one of the first pictures I uploaded to Caedes, and for people to still be enjoying it is incredible given its simplicity. Thanks to all of you for the positive comments.

I know this now. Every man gives his life for what he believes. Every woman gives her life for what she believes. Sometimes people believe in little or nothing yet they give their lives to that little or nothing. One life is all we have and we live it as we believe in living it. And then it is gone. But to sacrifice what you are and live without belief, that's more terrible than dying. Joan of Arc

I like the depth of this photo, creatd by distinct tones of green. I also like that the grass covers the whole field. I feel though that is missing a focus/focused point. its in my favz!

This is absolutely superb. I love the amount of detail that you've captured... you can see how many different shades of green are created with just one little plant... really wonderful capture. This image works wonderfully as a stand-alone image, but I think you could also use it over and over in different ways... maybe a background for a vertical image or something like that as well. Thanks for sharing this. :-)

Nevermind what I said before, I don't really think is missing anything. I took the time to look at it again and a year later I still like it very much! Good job!
