This looked like a good place to sit and read the newspapers on a Sunday morning. Straight off the camera and scaled only. I experimented with B&W but I just love the subtle colours in this picture so they stayed.

This is wonderful with just the light from the window. You were right to leave as is. I like those old vases on the chest. This picture is a pleasure to stare at. Well done!!! :o)

the room lighting and mood are superb - only the perspective distortion and scorched light in the window itself spoil the party a little. well done.

Great composition and exposure. The light is just just enought to pick up some of the textures in the room. Any brighter and the image would loose the mood it creates. Nice job!

This time....you are right to keep the colouring as it lends to mood and adds je ne sais quoi exactement.in any case, excellent and so glad you are relaxing with architecture and doing so well....it look likes a VerMeer painting scene...

You were right to keep the rich, warm wood and subtle carpet tones in. I also like the gaussian glow from the window light.
