Perhaps you didn't have it in mind, cropping out the top, but to me it hints at their destination, much the same way one can shoot sunset waves at the beach without actually including the sun. The glow of the sun or, as in this case, the edge of the top is really all that's needed. What we're really absorbing, after all, is the kids and their "yellow brick road." Are we sure these aren't Dorothy's boys?
I love photos of kids being kids, totally unaware of the camera. Thanks. BTW - you got a 10 from me in the booth, despite the fact that the algorithm will likely toss it out, I gave it a 10 because it earned it. The light, color, artistic approach, tack-sharp focus, subject matter, story... they all demanded it. Just wanted you to know.
