Complete fantasy. I like this house, and that you can see through it gives the impression of it being finished on all sides. The insect on the rock is a nice touch too.

Wow, those colors "POP!" I think you forgot the reflection of the lamp on the waters edge though. Looks a little odd seing the unlit lamp in the water. Great composition, lovely color. Keep it up.

But words are things, and a small drop of ink, falling, like dew, upon a thought produces that which makes thousands, perhaps millions think and smile. Art is everywhere, except it has to pass through a creative mind.

Thanks allot for the great feedback! Ahh the reason for the lamp refection is because Hobbit light don't refect.... Hmmm, and yes of course Hobbit's live in holes, but this is Frodo's house after The Lord of the Ring's. Even Hobbit's live in big cribs if they have the money. LOL

Thanks again for taking the time to comment and vote!

What a colorful, fantasy creation! I love the vivvid colors and whether or not hobbits live here, well, it certainly is ready in case they want to move in, and , just like Motel 6, the lights are on! Great job on this creating this image James. I enjoyed viewing it. Into fav' s on hd~ Thanks :)

The artwork is beautiful, but really, a Hobbits abode? I do like it, but can't handle the title.

this is really great becuase it's creepy yet calming. if i tried to make sometrhing creepy but calming...let's just say it wouldn't work. not many people can do that, so that's great. but the title might need some fixing.

Yes, I agree with Little_Art_Gurl, a little too scary for a little hobbit, try adding more sun and more flowers and stuff. But, other than that, its a very creative image and very cute and cozy! 12/10!!!

I like the colours and 'feel' of the image, but the flowers on the hill look dodgy.. reflections are good too.

The colors are excellent, purp and green are sweet together, the only improvement i'd suggest is to smooth out the grass and roof, but overall, original and beautiful.

This would make a most attractive desktop - I think it must be designed for those of us who still feel like children, but not actually for children. It definitely has an adult edge to it - a creepy strangeness. The colours are great and I really like the sky in the background. I must say, though, I agree with those who have cast doubt on this as a hobbit's home. Even a rich hobbit returned from adventuring would, I think, prefer to be in the ground and, certainly, in something more appropriately sized! Also, do hobbits have lampposts? I always imagined them with hand-lit lamps swinging from hooks above their doors... Times change, of course, but I still can't put a (happy) hobbit in this house!
