nice image, it reminds me of a japanese saying,,, i can't seem to remember it right now. what it meant was at peace with yourself like that but also being dead. i guess you could say heaven though it would not be a correct translation, hard to explain, but i will post the word if i remeber it. nice image:)

If I may, I would like to ask a quick question: You do realize that this is not a Joshua Tree in your photo, right? A Joshua tree looks like morphed giant version of a cactus. They grow all across the Mojave deserst is the Southwestern US. As for your image, I love the colors. They provide for a colorful, yet non-intrusive desktop. Good work!

LOL Oh Man ..Okay.. Okay I admit it you caught me.. Your right it's really not a Joshua Tree I didn't think the Joshua Tree really looked right. This is actually an Oak I believe. I just didn't want to name it ah "Oak Tree" LOL Really I was thinking more in the terms of Joshua's Tree and not the actual tree it's self. If ya know what I mean. Please fogive :-) Thank you everyone for all of the support that you have given me and thank you for taking the time to post such great comments I really apprerciate it!

I love the simplicity of this James and all the shades of blue. Very serene. Creating the reflection gives the image much depth and life. It also gave it the ability to jump right into my fav's on my h/d. Thanks! :))

Once again, beautifully amazing work. I love the blues and the position of the tree and how it stands out against the blue. Brilliant. I just have one thing i don't like. I think it would have looked better if the tree wasn't chromed, but that's just my opinion. It looks amazing nonetheless. 10/10 favs.

Weird but true: An armed robber attempted to hold up a packed gun shop. Minutes later, the hapless robber was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. The subsequent autopsy revealed 23 gunshot wounds and ballistics identified rounds from 7 different weapons.

This is lovely James. The shades of blues surrounding the tree are gorgeous but I especially like the spotlight on the tree making it look silver. It's an amazing piece and looks terrific on my desktop. Thanks for sharing it. Anita

Acknowledge yourself for how far you have come, instead of how far you think you have to go.
Simple, elegant and beautiful. Lovely blues and purples and the contrasting colour of the tree is stunning. Peaceful, calm and tranquil - would make a restful desktop amid the chaotic bustle of a busy office, for example.
