A good thing to always remember. I love how the towers are transparent -- always there, yet invisible.

Now today "standing united" is only a memory, unfortunately. Thanks for this one, well stated.

I don't think I can good compliment this and give it the credit it deserves at the same time..

The refraction/reflection of the towers is perfect, and this image is excelent in its simplicity and meaningfullness. You even managed to put the sun between the towers..which is one part of the design purposes of the buildings..10/10

Thank you all for the comments. I went back and viewed some of the photographs of Sept 11th before I created this image. It was just as hard to view the images now, as it was then. Allot of thoughts of that day, went through my mind as I was creating the image. What a tremendously sad day it will always be.

Thanks Again.

Wonderful piece! It is a day, as President Rosevelt said of Pearl Harbor, "A Day That Will Live In Infamy". We need to remember that day forever! We must always remember the past in order to preserve the future!

Thanks again everyone, and I am sorry if my image has brought back, memories for some that I am sure have struggled over the years, because of that day. But to me that's the reason I added the sun. To me it represent's new beginning, and a new future for all of us. Sort of like the saying "Every cloud has a silver lining" . I pray that one day we all can find peace, and days like Sept 11th will never happen again. Just remember the day we all stood united.

Every once in awhile we as members can come into this web site and a image will grab our eyes, yours did that for me today, you picture speaks for itself. I can recall that day like it was yesterday the images, the planes crashing into the towers and then to see the towers tumble down like building blocks. I can imagine that day affected alot of people in different ways but here in small town Texas panic was real.
The way I found out about this tragedy was I was asleep and then the phone rang my best friend said Deana what are you doing turn the tv on so I did I asked him ok what is going on so I put a video tape in and recorded all day long. Jim my hubby came home we took the girls and were going to my parents house, everywhere we went the lines at the gas stations were blocks long we thought ok why is this happening? We go to my parents and my dad said when a tragedy like this happens people panic and start buying everthing up fast, well they did our 1 grocery store had empty shelfs the gas stations ran out of gas.
We decided to go to church and just pray for the people that were in the planes and the buildings who had lost their lives. The day I creid about all of this was when I was listening to a song about the 9-11 and a man was cryig and talking about his friend he just dropped off at work and did not know if he was alive, everytime I hear or watch that video I just melt.
For all of you who were deeply affected by this tragedy theres no words to say how sorry we are so from me to you'
May god bless you and your families and hope your lives are never shadowed by another tragedy as this one, take care and god bless you all'
Deana

Beautiful image. I so wish our country could go back to being united. If we don't learn the art of compromise on all sides our country is toast.
