I believe every kid should have a wonderful dog to grow up with. This is a picture of my dog Abbey, that I got when I was 5 years old and grew up with till I was 16. She was an amazing dog, a one of a kind. The kind that you can look at and say, "There will never be another Abbey." She was the kind of dog, that when you asked to sit down on the towel from being outside on a rainy muddy day, and forgot her there for an hour, she was still there waiting for you. The kind of dog that if you left her outside for an hour, you look out, and see her outside the front door waiting for you to let her in. So for that special girl that was my best friend and little sister, I dedicate this poem that I wrote.~ I'm your wake up alarm. when you have food im right there. When you're sad im under you arm, as you run your fingers through my hair. Coming home from work you need a stress release, just grab a leash. I may not have as many years as you do, but Ill make every one count with you till were through. Just take advantage of every moment, tail wag, and bark.
