Don't let the cuteness fool you, these guys are aggressive killers. Not only that but they are hibernators. The average ground hog has been estimated to move about 5,500 pounds of soil when digging a burrow. Burrows have typically 2-5 entrances to evade predators. Burrows can be up to 46 ft of tunnels and buried down to 5 ft under ground. Causing serious threat to building foundations. So it is true...great things come in small packages.

He looks healthy and his coat is beautiful Kayla. They also have very sharp little teeth and love plums.
