Detail of the Eucumbene River, which is the one flowing thru the Kiandra Goldfields shots. My first use of the 8 stop ND filter I purchased a month or so back. Added this to the polarizer and it gave me long enough exposures in full sunlight to smooth the flow out some. I enhanced the smoothness postpro by running the water elements of the shot thru a diffusion filter but leaving the rocks sharp. (If you don't use layer masks yet, you really should look into them, fantastic tools.) You can expect to see a few similar images up ahead as I explore the raw files from the trip.

Enjoy.

Mikel.

Whoa! Pretty neat stuff! I like. I use layers some, but I'm still learning wherever I can find a tip is always welcome and you have left one here. Thanks, Mikel.

Aren't those ND filters great!! Can still be creative even when conditions aren't perfect (at least long shutter speed conditions)...I like!
