Just around the corner from my previous upload was this wide bit of the Eucumbene River as it meandered thru the Kiandra Goldfields. I know the sky is too soft but for some reason the raw file of this shot produced a speckly sky, shots before and after did not. Huh? (Shrug.) So I de-noised it, which you wouldn't notice except that it made the clouds super soft. Sigh. I love the rest of it though.

I do love the sky. Yes, and I like the contrast between the sky & the water. That land in between them is a nice layer.

I find the foreground should have been a tad lighter on this!....It seems the eye is searching for something very hard!....the stream is perfick for the lead-in to the sky, otherwise a grand composition!.

Really like this Mikel! These type of scenes always draw my attention and I think everything is fine here! It's the kind of photo I would do an 8x11 glossy of, just to meditate on this scene! Great job and thanks! Allen

Love these wide open spaces! I especially enjoy the layers of the river and land and low perspective. Were you standing in the middle of it? Captivating contrasts.
