When I've checked my travel notes I'll tell you which temple this is in Chengdu. If you find yourself bursting with a desire for symmetry, too bad. The incense brazier was where it was... not lined up with the temple behind. I was most interested in capturing the fragrant smoke rising up, the physical symbol of the heart's intent.
