I know pictures of pets are frowned upon but this isn't even my pet! ;) I was fiddling with a soft focus and color shading. Luckily Roxy was cooperative enough to look at the camera!
Natalie ... with the two posts of yours that I have seen, I find it hard to believe that you were sitting idly on the sidelines just as an 'appreciator.'
And that is a sincere compliment.
Wonderful work here.
This is not a pet shot.
Your creativity easily elevates this image above that genre.
And since you are not ... ahem ... a novice, bear with me here ...
The only ... only, suggestion I can make that might marginally improve the impact of your image here is to extend the colour down the the fronts of the legs. Not completely, though.
Curious if it would add a little 'something something' to the overall composition.
I will say again, make no mistake about my words ... this is one; very creative ... and two, quite professional in my mind.
Can I say one more thing? (Not like you have a choice here. :oP)
More ... please.
Thank you for sharing, and its' nice to see you have taken that leap of faith once again.
"There are no rules and regulations for perfect composition. If there were we would be able to put all the information into a computer and would come out with a masterpiece. We know that's impossible. You have to compose by the seat of your pants." -Arnold Newman
