The camera used for this and the rest of the Zoo shots was a Konica Minolta DiMAGE Z2 (borrowed). I've now got my own Panasonic DMC-FZ10 which I used for Moth Eaten.
Thank you for your comments and support. :)
Haha that's the best picture I've seen in days, what a funny character. Gotta love the 10x zoom on that DiMAGE, was this taken in a macro setting? It seems like it. Great, great capture.
I also have a more cheeky looking shot (IMO), but it was taken in portrait so doesn't work for a desktop. If you would like to see it I've got it hosted on Photobucket. They limit you to 250k so it's a higher compression than I use here, but it still looks OK.

Hey! Nice image. I love the clarity of the hairs. Also, since we're inclined to anthropomorphize these critters, he does look to be in a good humor.
I also use a Panasonic Lummox, and I like it a lot. The Leica lenses and the 12x zoom make it really effective on nature shots. The only drawbacks I've found are 1) No TIFF's, 2) the image stabilizer doesn't seem to do anything, and 3) 5x resolution would be nice, but for the price it's the best camera I've used.
