I'm so glad I had my camera with me!! This locomotive passed through the Vulcan village late this summer. I just managed to get my camera ready in time, so please excuse any blurring.Although i'm not certain, it is possible this locomotive could have been made at the Vulcan foundry which made locomotives and Diesel engines up untill the late 60's early 70's.

Last time I saw that loco, it was in a siding at Highley Station on the SVR. It must have made a break for it when you spotted it. Good to see it stretching its wheels.

Hi Stan. A splendid old puffing contraption. Reminds me a bit of you. Always blowing off steam, out of date and never on time. And a toot toot to you. Ron.
