I enjoyed your image. I find myself taking simiar images.
I am wondering about your deph of field though and if you
hand held the camera or put it on a tripod. A tripod would
allow you to shoot the image with a high f-stop, bringing more
of the image into focus.

Really great close up work with brilliant colours on that one rock. Great detail and clarity - I can see a kitty cat. Cool posting.
