I took this photo of my horse in his pasture a couple hours before sunset. There were a couple shots that I was debating between putting up. Mostly between this one, where you can see his nose and whiskers, and another in which you can see his whole eye. I ultimately chose this one because I like the way the light reflects on his nose and whiskers, and how you can see more of his halter, etc. Then, I had to choose between B&W and color... chose B&W because I haven't put one up yet! Please enjoy :)

Oooo very rustic! You should enter him for the contest of the same name! Its a lovely composition and the afternoon sunlight glances off his smooth face so perfectly. Looks like a winner to me! Personally i am a total lover of black and white as i think it makes everything just a bit more arty. It sometimes doesnt go down so well on caedes but i totally love it! Horses in particular seem to be enhanced by the desaturation! Very good choice if you ask me! :)

Both the Horse and the picture are keepers. I like this one very much. A bit intriguing.

A really nice well though out composition. The soft tones adds to the atmosphere. Thanks for sharing.
