We lost a lot of trees during hurricane 'Charlie' in '04 here in FL, but this palm made it just fine and has always been one of my favorites.
Thought it might make a nice desktop.

I wish we had this kind of tree here in Michigan. The problem with them is they don't change colors like ours in the fall. Very nice shot. Hope your weather stays calm this year.
You thought right about the DT. The palm tree is perfectly placed for that purpose and it's nice that some of the sunshine can be seen intruding into the image. This would make a great DT in the cold winter months, in fact! lol

It's like the Hawaiian flag...to me! and I don't care what kind of sky is up thier! The cocos palm looks awesome! Not to many things that I know of, that looks good in front of any sky, and!..... you can eat and drink from the cocos palm...OK! i'm gone. nice 1
