This is the very tip of Africa and the sea beyond the cliffs is the meeting point of the Indian and Atlantic Oceans, often referred to as the Cape of Good Hope - a treacherous coastline for shipping on days less calm than this one!

HMMMM.. I wonder why I like this picture so much! Feel kinda at home looking at it. Thanx for sharing a beautiful part of my country with the world! Good composition. Hope you've enjoyed it there!

Very nice composition.
I must admit that this image has a painting-like quality to me. And that is no slight, just another dimension for the viewer to consider ... and provoking thoughts? That is definitely a good good thing. :o)
You really have ... very successfully ... composed a great image here. Yes, I am on about the composition but, wow ... the individual elements are equally as great as the sum. Such that, you are not overwhelmed by any one, but, gently your eye is guided throughout this one.
The shadow of the cliffs, the cloud formations, the foreground as an anchor for a focal point ... nice work and thank you for the tour of this particular point.

Hello Anne....This picture reminds me so much of the Cornish coastline....You have done a grand job in capturing these majestic cliffs..I also like the way you have the tip of the cliffs just off centre and below halfway of the frame...it is a good composition...Well done....All the best...Mick.
