This is the tiny and secluded Hury Reservoir, way up on the Pennine moors. It's a grand place to relax and unwind after a long, hot day and yes, the water really IS that blue (when the sun is shining)!
Calm is an understatement Anne-Marie. It's lovely and soothing and clear. I just let out a huge sigh when I saw it...total relaxation. Nicely done and thanks for sharing. Anita

a lovely rich, sharp image. The color seems a little unnatural in the blues (sky is a bit aqua.) I've had a few shots go cyan like this in the sky and I think it might help to use a UV filter. anne :-)
Don't tell me it's good, tell me what is good about it. Don't tell me it stinks, tell me what I can do do improve it. Thank you for taking the time to tell me anything at all. Be blessed. anne :-)
Beautiful blues in this photo, and a lovely peaceful scene. The brown terrain in the background looks like not much rain has fallen lately to replenish the reservoir.
