The one that got away... Despite a recent visit to the outside of this old building, I suspect Dunstickin didn't go inside, otherwise we'd have seen a shot of him sitting on this lovely old bench. Here's my contribution to the Owd Bob Collection of Rustic Seats. ; - )

I'll have to fight Bob for this one Anne-Marie. It looks like such a lovely and serene place that you've captured so well. Excellent post. Anita

Hi Ann-Marie - I just changed this message because I thought it was Bob that had posted it and I am sure you do not want to be called Bob! lol! Lovely image! - I had to look twice as this photograph is very similar to some I took a couple of weeks ago in Chester of the old church ruins of St John the Baptist.

Anne Marie my love, this is a great composition. Your highlights are totally blown out on my monitor. You might want to do a little post work and tone it down. This comp is well worth the extra work to get it perfect. Blessings, anne :-)

What a lovely shot - a perfect bench awaiting Bob :) I'm amazed that he missed this beauty! The image is gorgeous with wonderful clarity, composition and details. These old buildings are interesting with their marvelous stone work. Gosh, the sunlight is making lovely shadows on the bench and all over. The door way and window area are most pleasing to see, especially with the sunlight. And that great view outside the door - the greenery is most lovely. Terrific colors of browns and greens. Anne Marie, you deserve TOP honors on this beautiful view...THANKS :*>

Lovely relaxing scene. You have done well to capture this without losing too much of the lighter or darker areas. I've always wanted to go to a church with a few trees and bushes growing inside. Who needs all those statues and stained glass windows when nature's true beauty is right before you.
