We had some spectacular skies here in Norfolk this afternoon, heralding a light snowfall this evening. I only managed this one shot through the window of my friend's car but it's an accurate snapshot of one such sky.

Anne-Marie This is just lovely the way the color contrasts play their part. Very nice and helps warm me up here in chilly Indiana. Very nice post my friend. Tigs

This is a very nice photo not only of the dramatic sky but also the gently rolling terrain and the small church in the distance. Exceptional quality for a snap through the car window.

I like the fact that you went for it - I tend to see something and think "wouldn't that make a nice picture?" but then let it go... Camera packed in bag or something, feeling I don't have time to get it out.

And you call this a snapshot, the colors are truly brilliant, the green grass and low clouds look great. Wonderful scenery you have there.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Its a lovely shot Anne-Marie, The colours are so vibrant and the little church looks so at home there. I guess it is as it has probably been there a long time.
Thanks for such a delightful scene.

Hello Anne Marie.....I must say this picture is so pleasing to the eye...The rolling green field taking one's eye right to the church in the distance.....I also like the way you have kept the the horizon nice and low to show off the beautiful sky.....Well done...All the best...Mick.

Another visual testament to your compositional skills Anne-Marie.

Mick has said it best and first ... and I wholeheartedly concur with his assessment.

Add to that from the information you provided in your narrative ... very well done for having shot this through a car window, no less.

Good and natural colours ... vibrant as well. Nice work with the 'Stealth' camera. ;o)

More ... please. :o)

I'm not all that concerned with accuracy ... rather I'm concerned with good photography. Looking at this ... I gotta tell ya ... you've satisfied my concern. Great scene ... captured in fine fashion.

Hi Ann-Marie,
I just love the simple, unpretentious rural scenes and your image is like a perfect example on how simple may look gorgeous! Excellent use of light as well. Well, Norfolk is one beautiful part of the world to live in!

Jenny
