This is the rear view of my earlier post, Blickling Hall, Norfolk. It must be a joy to wake each morning and look out across the lake from one of the hall's many bedroom windows. The hint of a hand-painted B&W or sepia-toned photo in this image was accidental; not sure if it works. Your comments are most welcome, please.

This looks like a beautiful painting Anne-Marie - I love the grasses in the front they add a softness to the overall view.

Wonderful place. You have chosen an interesting object for your photos. However I would give up a little bit of contrast which makes the sky and water surface a bit washed out and the weeds in the foreground a bit too dark. But this can be easily corrected in a photo editor.

Excellent composition, especially love the grass plumes in the foreground. The sepia-like effect enhances the look of the old house in a very interesting and attractive way.

I really like this Anne-Marie. Framing really adds to overall shot. Grasses in foreground makes a beautiful spot to observe water and mansion. Colors and compostion very good. Nice post.
