I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there isn't and die to find out there is.

T'irrific summerhouse, A-M. So this is where we can have tea together! I like the way it
appears to have a dark frame around it, makes it stand out more. I could probably write some good poetry here.

It amazes me just how many of these are scattered throughout the country!....
Wonderful shot my dear.....And at a good angle for detail.....they may be classed as temples, but I think they were secret 'naughty' places!
*You will have noticed that I haven't been commenting as much on your fine images!..This is because of the pains in my hands!..the constant use of the keyboard, makes this difficult..so, my dear friends..I can only apologise to you all in advance!*

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

A lovely sight Anne-Marie - can you imagine days gone by the the 'ladies' resting in the summerhouse - maybe a nice cup of tea - or something :)
Looks like you shot this from a low angle - nicely done. (Or did the HLM take it? lol)
Such an elegant place, and it has a metal roof..interesting combination. I would love to be sitting on those steps and just listening to the silence. thank you so much for posting a most lovely photo..verena
Green grass! I haven't seen some of that in a while. The vignetting holds my eyes into the picture, the DOF is gr8, and...i want a house like that(!) (if i ever get my own house, that is). :)
One more thing, thanks for the comment on that one picture with the puffy red/pink clouds.
Isn't this lovely. The way you framed it makes me want to walk down the meadow into the building. What is it I wonder? The colors are quite rich, and the turn of the facade makes it just the tiniest bit mysterious. You did a good job of presenting this. It's real photography telling a story and inviting us to ask questions.
Hello Anne-Marie...This is a well composed shot...The low angle and the trees each side leads the eye to the summer house...Great work from you Anne...All the best....Mick.
