Captured this very elegant fellow just before he hissed noisily for feeding crackers to Quackers and not to him. The Antwerp Blue water is the result of having used a CPL (and a touch of HSL in PS).
Wow, he's comin' in for a landing, he's rufflin' his feathers, he's about to.... hiss! Beautiful shot, Anne-Marie. Exceptional. T'riffic. Fine detail, and I love the rippling reflection. How close were you? I've seen one of these guys attack a small child to defend his lady on her nest. They are beautiful but they can get ornery.

Such a beautiful capture Anne-Marie. The effects you've used give it a mystical look and feel. Very nicely done. I really love the lighting in this also.
I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there isn't and die to find out there is.

Great capture Anne-Marie. I love how your caught the light playing off of the swans outstretched wings. Your feathered friend does not look like a happy camper.:) Using the polarizer lens really made the water impressive and added a lot of depth to this entire image.
Swans always make for a lovely photograph (IMHO). Thank you for sharing this one with me ;=)
*You will have noticed that I haven't been commenting as much on your fine images!..This is because of the pains in my hands!..the constant use of the keyboard, makes this difficult..so, my dear friends..I can only apologise to you all in advance!*

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Hello Anne-Marie....Emblematic in the perfect moment of capture...The dark blue of the water lends a deceptive softness that heightens the impact of the pose .... Wonderful!....Well done Anne...All the best...Mick.
