Hi Pat! I thought you were gonna say " I finally banged him with the heel of my shoe!" LOL
Excellent shot ma'am! In the thumbnail you cant even tell he's on a web, & barely in the full view! Great clarity & detail..you can see his "poodle" cut perfectly! Good one there young lady! C):-) Dan (no thanks needed)
you've struck me dumb, woman.. I'm at a loss for words :) This is excellent..one of the finest spider pics I've seen..poodle cut indeed. While you are there in the south grooming your spiders, we here in the north are fighting the good fight before the cold sets in to keep the spiders out of the house and in their own place in the wild. The composition on this is without question excellent and the color and detail are superb... Thanks for this superior post :)PJ
You're right on with that title, Pat, and this is amazing in detail. I also like how you composed it! Spiders are wonderous creatures and your patience paid off! - Patty
Gorgeous detailed picture. Amazing animal. Pat I have to warn you. If you hear me screaming all the way to Louisiana that's me having a nightmare. No joking wonderful capture, superb clarity, great detail.

The image clearly ... and I mean CLEARLY shows why you chose that title. Great macro ... Great title ... just plain Great work Pat. Now if you could just get it to stand on its hind legs and beg ... you'd be famous. (TYU)
To Dunstickin: What did you call me? A hinny? A hinny? Do you know what a hinny is over here? It's a female jackass. Why you...............you.......................you cad you.......................
Here, let me help you with your English............(picks up shotgun, pulls back both triggers) BLAM......................BLAM!
the clarity of the image is outstanding and the amount of detail that you can see on the spider is unbelievable. Excellent work and this one goes into the favs and on my son desktop as he LOVES spiders.

I love spiders... took great care to capture/release one I found in my home the other day. I love this one, but would also like to know what kind it is.. anyway - great photo, thank you!
I think that spider is roughly 10 times bigger than mine :). I'm kinda happy that we don't have that big spiders over here, but on the other hand it would be nice to take pictures of them if I had the guts :). Nice shot anyway!
