The name ChuPat is derived from my nickname Chuck and my wife of 34 years name Patti. Her photography will appear on Caedes as well from time to time. I consider myself an advanced amature not anyway close to being a professional. I have just taken photography more seriously since I have switched to digital. My profession has always been associated with pohtography in one way or another. Any criticism I receive will be well appreciated.

You have the neatest looking trees down there, Pat. Even in the daytime they look at bit eerie. The rain really adds to the scene, which is beautifully composed. Nice!

Very beautiful image, Pat. That plush green grass, and then the greens and yellows of the trees are terrific. I really like trees, and you have captured some of the most beautiful ones I have seen yet! Well done!

This is really very lovely! I can actually see the sheets of rain and it seems to have given the entire shot a softened appearance and still you have retained the wonderful colors of the landscape. Bravo!

Never rebuke while you’re still indignant about a fault committed—wait until the next day, or even longer. Then calmly, and with a purer intention, make your reprimand. You’ll gain more by a friendly word than by a three-hour quarrel. -Josemaria Escriva

I like the combinations of colours here and the clarity is very good. The composition is excellent too. Good all round.

I don't know what sort of filters you used on this, but this image is absolutely wonderful. With the spanish moss blowing and the capture of the rain, you can truly feel the elements. Excellent comp, Pat!

This is a BEAUTY Pat ... The colors in this are superb. This little piece of the Garden of Eden is one of the best if not "THE" best I've seen you post. Lord it's gorgeous in my eyes. Won't waste a moment putting this in my favorites. You'll excuse me now while I pick my jaw up off the floor.

Have you ever looked at a picture and found that it gave you a feeling of soothing tranquility. That's the way I felt when I first saw this photo. It has everything, colour, composition and a remarkable view of natures work at it's best. Couldn't take my eye's off of it. Love it,great job and thanks for sharing, Don
