Ah sheesh! I'm disappointed...I expected to see you all sprawled out on the trail and you got a pic of yourself on the way down. Well this will do and I do like the lighting and it's a nice composition. Colors are rather nice too. A nice job. Now how about a splat pic?
I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there isn't and die to find out there is.

Forget what Jerry said, as one Loisianian to another I love this pic. Especially the reflections of the branches in the water. I think I also see a small turtle on one of those limbs. Too small for Turtle Sauce Piquant, but just right for this photo. Good Eye Ms Pat.
Love the reflections...TIMBER>>>>>>>>...looks like it's trying to hold itself up out of the water so it doesn't drown. Colors are again your unique presentation and I like it that you've found something so interesting to post in the everyday things around you...good on you, Ms. Andre :)
give him a slap Pat! lol! love the reflections in the water and the warm brown tones! It's a lovely composition Pat. I am not sure if the water needs straightening a bit, but then again I am just obsessed with horizons lately with Jerry getting his ruler out! anyway it is beautifully taken. Patti

I love the sunlight laying on the ground in this very much! And the reflections of course. Gosh I do miss some of the great scenery in the bayous etc....but am so glad you are sharing what YOU see with us...thankies a bunch my friend!! V
That golden hour is amazing, especially after it's rained and stopped. The colors here couldn't be warmer and the lighting more perfect. What a lovely, thoughtful shot.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

You are getting some terrific colour contrasts to your pictures of late!....What you been doing?..
Love this one...and it sits nicely on my screen at present too!
*You will have noticed that I haven't been commenting as much on your fine images!..This is because of the pains in my hands!..the constant use of the keyboard, makes this difficult..so, my dear friends..I can only apologise to you all in advance!*

Nice color in this Pat ... You and your trees ... standing upright or laying down ... you make 'em look good. What I really like here is the way the mirror-like reflection near the bank suddenly disappears into a thousand tiny ripples and becomes a gentle blur near the opposite bank. Nice post my Belle.
